Visitors and relationship hearts
Dinkum NPCs can visit your town, open shops and sometimes decide to settle. KRAFTON says to spend money at a visitor's shop, talk with them and complete their requests to raise the relationship shown as hearts. When the relationship is high enough, the visitor will say they want to move in.
That answer does not give an identical numeric threshold or a guaranteed calendar date for all visitors. Do not claim that a specific conversation always moves someone in immediately. Use the hearts shown in the current dialogue and keep fulfilling legitimate requests.
Deeds and town debt
After a visitor decides to stay, their building deed appears in Fletch's deed list. The official FAQ says you must clear debt on the previous deed before placing another. This explains why a high-relationship visitor and a new building are not always the same immediate event.
The building FAQ confirms that deeds can be placed where you want and buildings can later be moved. Your original home tent has a separate rule: the help centre says you can move it once it has become a house. Plan the town around regular trips, but do not infer a cost or placement timer absent from the sources.
Guest houses and newer requests
The 1.0 patch added four new villagers who can occupy rented guest houses. Its rental-sign description says a guest house can generate rent depending on its interior decoration. This is distinct from the normal visitor-to-deed route described in the older help article.
The Great Bite update expanded requests to include tea for holders of the Brewing Licence, tools, fruit and relics for Franklin. Not every request is available in every situation; the official patch lists exclusions and conditions. A visitor guide should separate general friendship-building from a newer, specific request type.
Named NPC roles
Fletch is named in the licence and deed guidance, John in selling guidance, and Franklin in crafting notes. Rayne is named in newer crop-related materials and the Great Bite update, which mentions her greenhouse. These are sourced roles, not an invented list of everyone's weekly schedule.
The exact appearance day, each resident's numeric heart threshold and every shop inventory remain 待确认. If a visitor has not appeared, verify the current game's progression state rather than assuming an outdated guide's dates are universal.
