Dinkum Vehicles: Plane, Train, Scooter and More

Dinkum vehicles include a two-seat plane introduced at the official 1.0 launch. The person steering needs a Pilot Licence, but the passenger in the co-pilot seat does not. The patch says the plane is faster than the helicopter but cannot hover and can land and float on water.

Franklyn learns its crafting recipe after the specified Shiny Disc donation and Berkonium mission route in the release notes. Players who already met the conditions may still need to offer another disc. Do not infer a fixed material cost or assume that carrying a passenger changes the licence rule.

Animal Tracks introduced a train and railway tracks. The official notes say the train cannot be operated off track, even if placed elsewhere. Vehicle Licence level 2 or higher enables a Locomotive Licence, which permits crafting tracks and railway bridges.

Franklyn offers the train recipe after enough Shiny Discs have been donated. The 2026 Great Bite update later added Switch Railway Track, with a directional control for travel on a junction. For a useful route, a train needs a built rail network; it is not a drop-in substitute for an off-road mount.

The 2026 Great Bite table calls the Scooter a portable vehicle for land travel, stored and ridden similarly to a glider. The Servo is a separate item that calls your vehicle from anywhere on the map; its Old Bowser component is rare in the Mine. These tools have different acquisition paths and should not be confused with the train's rail licence.

Summer Sun earlier introduced a Hot Air Balloon as an airborne way to travel, with a licence requirement noted by the developer. That original update also described optional paint for the balloon. It did not publish a current speed ranking against every vehicle added later.

The Animal Tracks preview described the train as the fastest ground vehicle added up to that time. Newer vehicles may change the practical comparison, particularly across different terrain and track layouts. Treat that statement as a dated update claim rather than a 2026 leaderboard.
